For months now, I have been wondering....

....what on Earth these little plastic things are. I found one in the garden the other day and they're everywhere arounf the streets of Buzău. Anyone able to shed some light on the subject?

probably what they use for smear tests in Romanian hospitals...but only if you've paid your entrance tax!

actually, as soon as I posted, the Malteaser came and asked why I has a coffee stirrer on my desk.
lvl, I think it's too small for ice-cream.
Geo, I believe this is it's secondary use!

the Malteaser is right - it's a coffee stirrer and it drops out of the vending machine into the cup at the same time as the coffee. I've seen them in France and Italy too so they can't be that strange, surely?!

I think its a finger spacer, designed to separate the thumb from the adjacent 2 fingers & it looks like you have mastered it perfectly. I'm not helping much, am I dad? :-)
